Hello developers,
In these last few months, we have been striving to remove the end-user capability of TagoIO and to direct all end-users to TagoRun.
In late 2019 we removed the ability for new users to register as end-users inside TagoIO (admin.tago.io), and next Monday May 18th, all end-users still registered in TagoIO’s admin will be converted to developers. It means that any user accessing admin.tago.io will see the same options presented to developers.
What do I have to do?
If you already use TagoRun to show solutions to your users, you don’t need to do anything.
If your applications are only used by yourself, and you don’t share them with end-users (non-developers), you don’t need to do anything.
If your end-users access your applications through the TagoIO admin (admin.tago.io), they will start seeing the complete developer view. Keep in mind that while they will see additional resources such as devices and buckets, they will still see only their shared dashboards. Deploy your applications with RUN to your customer to access them.
We are removing this capability in favor of TagoRun since both serve for the same purpose.
