TagoIO joins LoRa Alliance

RALEIGH, N.C. – Aug. 11, 2020 – TagoIO, developer of an innovative end-to-end cloud platform for IoT that integrates dashboards, analytics, storage, notifications, devices and user management functionality to transform the way companies create value from connected products, is pleased to announce that it joined the LoRa Alliance®, the global association of companies backing the open LoRaWAN® standard for IoT low-power wide-area networks (LPWANs).

The world is entering into the next phase of a global digital transformation. TagoIO is already assisting several LoRa Alliance members to uncover new products and services, and to more efficiently build better products using IoT technologies. TagoIO offers the tools to manage devices, store data, run analytics and integrate services that ease a company’s IoT transformation.

System integrators, consultants, software developers and hardware manufacturers can easily build customizable solutions with TagoIO based on several connectors and examples that are already available. Because TagoIO is in the middle of the IoT ecosystem and offers unique features, it will inspire many members of the community to build great applications that will go beyond IoT.

“The LoRa Alliance is focused on making it easier and faster to deploy IoT solutions, by continuously building on our capabilities as the largest global IoT LPWAN member ecosystem,” said Donna Moore, CEO and Chairwoman of the LoRa Alliance. “TagoIO adds a robust and user-friendly platform to our ecosystem for not just accessing IoT data, but using that data in meaningful ways to create real value and improve business outcomes. They bring with them an installed base of 5,000 IoT developers who will help create the next generation of LoRaWAN products that provide rich data insights and produce real business value; particularly in North America where LoRaWAN is experiencing rapid growth.”

LoRaWAN is the global defacto standard for secure, carrier-grade IoT LPWAN connectivity that drives large-scale, mass IoT deployments. LoRaWAN CertifiedCM products provide assurance to the ecosystem and end customers that their devices will operate as specified on any LoRaWAN network.

“One of our strengths is partnership. We know that we need strong partners to complement our ecosystem, and that is why we created a program to add 1,000+ types of end-node devices from sensor manufacturers to our platform by the end of 2020,” stated Fabio Rosa, CEO, TagoIO. “By joining the LoRa Alliance, we are confident that we will achieve this goal and benefit both our customers and the hardware manufacturers.”
