Yes! TagoIO offers a Free plan that includes 5 devices, 5 dashboards, and all the key features. It's free forever with no credit card required.

### What will I be charged for?

You are charged for your plan tier (Starter, Scale, or Deploy) plus any additional service usage beyond what's included. Services include data input/output transactions, data storage, analysis minutes, notifications, end-users, and file storage.

### What is the billing cycle?

Billing is monthly. You can also opt for yearly billing with a discount. Your billing cycle starts on the day you subscribe.

### If I upgrade my plan, how will that be billed?

When you upgrade, you'll be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the current billing cycle. The new plan rate applies from the next full billing cycle.

### What payment methods are accepted?

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) through our secure payment processor.

### If I downgrade my plan, when will the changes be put into effect?

Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. You'll continue to have access to your current plan's features until then.

### I forgot to cancel my plan, can I get a refund?

### If I downgrade to a free plan, what will happen with my applications and data?

Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time without any disruption to your applications or data.

### How is pricing calculated?

### What are the maximum API request rates?

Rate limits depend on your plan. Starter plans have low rate limits, Scale plans have medium rate limits, and Deploy plans offer fully customizable rate limits. Contact us for specific numbers.

### What counts as a TagoAI prompt?

Each message you send to TagoAI counts as one prompt, and the monthly allowance depends on your plan. Unused prompts do not carry over between billing cycles. TagoIO warns you at 80%, 90% and 100% of the allowance, and once it runs out no further prompts are processed on that profile until the limit is raised or the billing period ends.

### Do I pay per user for AI?

No. TagoAI has no per-seat fee. Connect your own OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS Bedrock, Google Gemini, or OpenRouter account under Profile Settings, Services, AI Provider, and prompts are billed by that provider instead, with the TagoIO monthly limits no longer applying.
