Dashboard types
Four kinds of dashboard, one canvas
Every dashboard starts by choosing what kind it is. All four share the same widgets and the same access rules; what changes is where the data comes from and who builds the layout.
Normal dashboard
Drop widgets on the canvas and bind each one to the devices you picked. Resize, rearrange, set the time range, and the board is done. It is what most solutions run on, and the one every other type is measured against.

Every widget, one library
All thirteen widget types TagoIO draws, on the same grid and theme, reading from the same devices, so a board reads as one thing rather than a wall of charts.
Map . Assets at their coordinates, coloured by state, over your own network.
Display . One reading, large, with its band and a sparkline under it.
Dynamic Table . Devices in rows, each with its id, its last value and its state.
Angular . A half-circle needle over a scale, for anything with a safe band.
Input Control . A toggle that writes back to the device and shows what it did.
Vertical Column . Totals side by side, for comparing places or intervals.
Image . A photograph with live readings pinned to points you choose.
Area . A series over time, filled under the line, with axes and a legend.
Solid . A ring filled to a percentage, with the target beside it.
Device List . Your devices by name, each with how long since it last reported.
Card . A count or a state with an icon, for the number that needs no chart.
Input Form . Labelled fields and a submit, for sending settings to a device.
Horizontal Bar . The same comparison when the labels are names rather than dates.

Dashboard questions
What kinds of widget can I put on a dashboard?
Readings, dials, rings, line and bar charts, maps, tables, lists, switches, input forms and pinned photographs. They all share the same grid, the same theme and the same data source, so a board reads as one screen rather than a wall of charts.
What is a Blueprint dashboard?
A dashboard whose widgets are bound to slots instead of to a fixed device. A selector at the top of the board picks which device fills each slot, so one layout serves an entire fleet and adding the hundredth device costs nothing but a tag.
Can I use my own code on a dashboard?
Yes, in two ways. A custom widget renders a page you host inside a widget frame beside the ordinary widgets and receives the dashboard's data. A custom dashboard replaces the whole canvas with your own HTML, still reading TagoIO data over the platform's message channel.
Can end users open dashboards on a phone?
Yes. Dashboards reflow for a handset, and the free TagoIO app for iOS and Android opens the same boards under the same access rules. On a TagoRUN portal your users sign in to the app carrying your brand instead.
Can I put my own brand on the dashboards?
Yes. A TagoRUN portal takes your logo, favicon, colors and email templates, and with the custom domain add-on it runs on your own domain. The dashboards inside it are the ones you built, wearing your brand rather than ours.
