We are excited to announce an important update to our network: our server infrastructure is growing, and Europe is now part of our network. With this expansion, new TagoIO accounts can now choose to store their data on dedicated servers located in Europe.
What does this mean for you? If you operate in the EU, your end-user data remains within the European Union. This change helps improve data access speeds for projects throughout Europe and supports compliance with the GDPR guidelines. Our European server is based in Ireland (Europe West 1), ensuring that companies operating in the EU market and organizations requiring data residency can work confidently with TagoIO.
This upgrade is especially useful for:
• Companies targeting the EU market
• Organizations that require EU data residency
• Businesses that must meet GDPR compliance standards
• Projects in Europe that need low-latency access to data

Please note that our servers in the US and the EU are completely isolated. As a result, the API endpoints used to receive data from IoT devices are different. For instance, if you’re sending data from a LoRaWAN Network Server in Europe, be sure to point to the TagoIO middleware linked to your account.
