The Fundamentals certification is composed of a series of basic modules aimed at enabling participants to understand how to create and maintain IoT solutions.

How to get certified

Participants can register and complete the self-paced individual modules at any time and duration. All pre-requisite modules are available online and at no cost. Candidates should register to take the certification test, pay the fee, and take the test.

Who should attend

Anyone who aims to build basic yet robust IoT solutions for themselves or as a service provider. Only a basic knowledge around sensors, connectivity, and the area of applications are required. Programming knowledge is NOT required but recommended.

Developer Certificate

The Software Developer certification is composed of a series of training modules aimed at enabling software developers to build IoT applications.

How much do the training modules cost?
All training modules on the TagoIO Learning Center are free. You can take individual courses or complete an entire certification track at no cost.
Is there a time limit to start the test for the certification after I register?
No, there is no time limit. You can register and complete the self-paced modules at your own pace. When you are ready, register for the certification test and take it whenever it suits you.
How many times can I take the test?
You can retake the certification test as many times as needed. Each attempt requires a new registration, but the training modules remain available for review at any time.
What are the differences between the certification tracks?
The Fundamentals track covers platform basics (devices, dashboards, actions, user management) and does not require programming knowledge. The Developer track focuses on scripting with Analysis, API integration, custom connectors, and automation, and requires basic programming skills.
Does TagoIO offer custom training sessions?
Yes. TagoIO can arrange custom training sessions tailored to your team or organization. Contact our sales team for more details on scheduling and pricing.
For how long are the Certificates valid?
TagoIO certificates do not expire. Once you pass the certification test, your certificate remains valid indefinitely and can be shared on LinkedIn and other professional platforms.
What languages are the courses available in?
The courses are currently available in English. Portuguese translations are planned for a future release.
