New general settings for Decimal Separator
TagoIO Team
Final users and developers have the option to define the Decimal Separator that is applied to the values shown in the dashboards: “comma” or “dot”. It will define if a number would be displayed as 1,234.56 or 1.234,56.
The Decimal Separator option is located in your Account Settings, under the Visualization Preferences tab. You can get to your settings by using this link: https://admin.tago.io/account/
Make sure that you use data format as Number wherever possible, so that your users will be able to get the benefit of the auto adjustment of the decimal separator based on their own settings.
Notice: This setting doesn’t impact the format of the data stored into the data buckets or when it is exported and downloaded to files like .csv, .xls, JSON format – the “dot” is the standard for decimal representations.
