PUT (/data) method to be discontinued on March, 04th, 2017
TagoIO Team
Hello everyone,
Tago will discontinue the route to edit data, PUT, on the buckets, (/data) on March, 4th. This endpoint isn’t used by most of Tago users, and demand intensive resource from real-time servers. If you use PUT, convert your application immediately to a combination of DELETE & POST actions, like:
Delete the desired data (DELETE) and add it (POST) with the same object considering your changes on the variable.
After March, 4ht, any API request using the PUT method on the buckets, (/data) will return error 404 (route not found) and will have no effect at the back-end.
In case you have any question about how to make the change in your application, contact us in our Slack Community.
