The new TagoIO Admin UI becomes the default on June 22

We put the new Admin UI into Beta back in March. Since then, a lot of you have used it daily, broken it in ways we did not expect, and told us exactly what was wrong. That feedback turned into a long list of fixes. The result is a new design that is faster to work in and ready to be the default.

On June 22, 2026, the new Admin UI becomes the default for every account. You will still be able to switch back to the legacy admin (the current one) if you need it.

What is changing

The new design looks slightly different from the current one. Most of your day-to-day work stays in the same place, but the layout, spacing, and some components have changed. That difference is the reason this post exists: the way your dashboards, widgets, and portals render can shift under the new design, and your end users will see that change.

What you need to do

Review your dashboards, widgets, and portal layouts under the new design and adjust anything that does not look right. The goal is a smooth handoff to the people who actually use your portals, so they never notice a rough edge.

You can do this now. Switch to Beta today and see exactly how your current portal and dashboards will render in the new UI. While both designs are available, you can compare them side by side and fix layout issues before they reach anyone.

Today, under your RUN settings, you can already see the two URLs of your RUN. Use them to preview how your portal will look under each design before the switch.

The dates that matter

  • June 22: the new Admin UI becomes the default for all accounts.
  • July 27: portals and dashboards built on RUN reflect only the new UI design. This is about how your users see it, the RUN users. Test and adjust yours before this date so nothing surprises them after the cutover.

A few things that do not change

The URL of your user portal defined in RUN stays the same. Nothing you have shared with customers needs to be updated.

If you run a custom domain, you can switch your RUN portal back to the current (legacy) design if you need more time to adjust your layouts.

Help us land this well

If something does not look right after you switch to Beta, tell us. Post it in the TagoIO community or open a ticket with our support team. The more we hear before June 22, the better the default is for everyone on the platform.

Thank you for building with TagoIO, and thank you to everyone who spent time in the Beta. This release is better because of you.
