Use Case in Action
Agriculture
Across multi-site farm operations, small variations in layout, bin count, and equipment setup can turn monitoring into a manual, site-by-site routine. Feed levels, water flow, motor status, and environmental conditions are often checked reactively, after a refill is missed, a motor overheats, or an outage interrupts operations.
With transceivers installed at key points and long-range LoRa back to a centralized gateway, data flows into TagoIO for real-time visibility and alerts. Teams are notified when feed bins run low, readings drift out of range, or power is lost, so they can act early instead of troubleshooting after downtime.
Through TagoIO, Device Solutions’ customers can replicate dashboards and workflows across farms and adjust only what changes per site. This keeps operations consistent and makes multi-location rollouts faster, with the right views for each user profile.
Public School Cold Storage and Power Monitoring
When widespread power outages hit a school district, food services and facilities teams lose visibility fast. It becomes hard to know which sites are down, what is happening inside coolers and freezers, and where to deploy resources first. In one documented case, more than half of 86 schools lost power, making cold storage checks a safety and logistics issue.
With power and temperature monitoring connected to a centralized cloud platform like TagoIO, personnel are alerted when electricity is lost and restored. During outages, battery backup and cellular communication keep temperature data reporting in real time, helping teams prioritize generators, relocate inventory, and confirm product safety.
Historical data also supports earlier detection of equipment issues beyond the outage. By spotting abnormal trends in walk-in units before failure, maintenance teams can act sooner, prevent food loss, reduce emergency repairs, and strengthen district-wide resilience.
